TUI has announced the launch of exclusive Arctic Lakeland Santa packages with direct flights from UK to Kajaani in December 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new route will commence on December 3rd and operates with 2 flights a week from Manchester to Kajaani until December 28th 2025 on Wednesdays and Sundays. TUI is featuring 2 hotels in Kajaani and 2 hotels in Vuokatti. Vuokatti is located only 40-min drive from Kajaani Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By securing exclusive direct flights and working with fantastic hotels in Kajaani and Vuokatti, we\u2019re making the magic of a winter wonderland more accessible and affordable than ever. All tourism stakeholders in the area celebrates the new TUI charter route to Kajaani. The route makes a significant boost for the local tourism and supports Arctic Lakeland\u2019s vision of sustainable tourism growth through our strategic international partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arctic Lakeland\u2019s holiday destinations (Kajaani-Ouluj\u00e4rvi, Vuokatti, Paljakka, Ukkohalla, Wild Taiga, Kuhmo and Suomussalmi) have been working for several years to create commercial demand in UK markets by attending international promotional events and negotiations with TUI. Visit Finland and Finavia have also been involved in the negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arctic Lakeland collaboration with TUI UK continues through the Arctic Lakeland Charter project. The project is implemented by the Municipality of Sotkamo and funded by the Municipality of Sotkamo, the Regional Council of Kainuu, City of Kajaani and City of Kuhmo. The goal of the collaboration is to promote the newly launched TUI Arctic Lakeland winter trips and increase the region\u2019s visibility among TUI\u2019s British customer base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
