Holiday Club Katinkulta

Holiday Club Katinkulta is the most versatile holiday resort in the Nordic countries. Katinkulta was opened in 1991 and has been developed purposefully over the years. It has served as the flagship destination for its owner, Holiday Club Resorts, as the owner has scaled up its concept developed in Vuokatti to new destinations. Holiday Club offers a total of more than 30 holiday destinations in Finland. Seven of the Finnish destinations are full-service spa hotels, offering customers a wide range of services, such as diverse restaurants, pampering treatments, golf courses, indoor activity parks, and other services for an active and diverse vacation. The company also operates in Sweden and the Canary Islands in Spain.

Katinkulta, located in Vuokatti, remains one of the most diverse holiday destinations in the Holiday Club chain, and Katinkulta has played a significant role in the creation and development of the company’s chain business. Katinkulta currently has approximately 4 500 beds.

Holiday Club has grown into Europe’s largest timeshare company and is one of the leading operators in tourism and leisure accommodation in Finland. Superpark

Born in Vuokatti in 2012, SuperPark is a globally expanded indoor activity park chain for families, showcasing the region’s innovative spirit in creating engaging experiences.

SuperPark is a Finnish indoor activity park chain that originated in Vuokatti in 2012. The first park was established in Vuokatti in an old factory hall and began operating in the same year with an Angry Birds theme, which had made a global breakthrough in the video game industry. The indoor activity park concept developed in Vuokatti was scaled up to several locations in Finland and abroad, such as Hong Kong and Sweden.

SuperPark grew rapidly in Finland, and indoor activity parks were opened in several locations in Finland. The first foreign park was opened in Hong Kong. SuperPark then opened parks in Sweden, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

The SuperPark indoor activity park in Vuokatti was successfully scaled up to other locations in Finland and abroad through licensing agreements with indoor activity parks.

Vuokatti Sport Olympic Training Center

Vuokatti Sport Olympic Training Center is the Scandinavian home for winter sports. With the region’s most versatile facilities, it has nurtured world-class athletes.

Since the early 2000s, the Vuokatti Sport Olympic Training Centre has grown into one of the world’s leading winter sports training centres. Having hosted international competitions such as the European Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2001 and 2022, Vuokatti offers top-class conditions for cross-country skiing, biathlon, combined events and freestyle sports – all within walking distance of the accommodation.
