Operations
Established in 1978, Vuokatti Tourism Ltd is responsible for joint marketing of the Vuokatti region within Finland and for developing tourism in the area in accordance with the shared Thriving Vuokatti 2028 development plan.
The aim of Vuokatti’s joint marketing is to increase brand awareness of Vuokatti, attract more visitors to the region, and generate additional sales for the businesses involved in the marketing collaboration.
Vuokatti’s tourism vision is to be most versatile, year-round holiday destination in Finland — captivating visitors with its unique chain of hills, charming waterways, and vibrant atmosphere. The welcoming hospitality of Vuokatti keeps guests coming back time and again. We are also actively pursuing growth in international tourism.

Our work is guided by Vuokatti’s tourism development plan, which is aligned with the Municipality of Sotkamo’s strategy. It has been a pleasure to lead this collaboration for several years as Chair of the Board, and the work continues. The tourism development plan extends to 2028, with the goal of making Vuokatti one of Finland’s top year-round destinations for both international and domestic travellers”
